Sushant Singh Rajput’s family lawyer Vikas Singh: The Supreme Court has ruled in our favour on all points

The Supreme Court has finally ordered a CBI probe into Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. The late actor’s family and fans have welcomed the decision and they all are now eagerly waiting for the CBI to unearth the truth and help them all find a closure.

Sushant’s father’s lawyer Vikas Singh has called the Apex court’s decision a huge victory for the late actor’s family. “This is a victory for Sushant Singh Rajput’s family. SC ruled on all points in our favour. The Court also clearly said that the FIR registered at Patna was correct,” Vikas told ANI. Read on to know the details.

Elaborating on the SC’s order, Vikas addressing the media said that the court has clearly stated that whatever Mumbai Police was doing in regard to the case was very limited in its scope. Apart from that he also said that any other FIR registered in connection with the actor’s death will also be now investigated by CBI. Singh said that today’s verdict is a huge step towards getting justice.

Vikas also clarified that now since its a court-ordered CBI probe no one can challenge it in court questioning the legality of the FIR filed by the Bihar police.

The SC has directed Mumbai police to comply with its order and hand over all the evidence and documents related to Sushant’s death case to CBI. Apart from Sushant’s fan and family, several Bollywood celebs have also expressed their happiness over CBI taking over the case.
