Sushant Singh Rajput’s father speaks for the first time post his demise; reveals about their last conversation

Bollywood lost a terrific actor after Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide on June 14. The talented actor’s untimely death came as a huge blow to his family as well as the entire nation. Post, Sushant’s demise his family was completely heartbroken. The late actor’s father has finally spoken for the first time ever since his death. Apart from his son’s marriage plans he also spoke about his ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande.

According to the entertainment portal, Tadka Bollywood, in an interview, Sushant’s father KK Singh said that the actor used to be very frank before but later he turned out to be very reclusive. He even revealed that Sushant was a dear child who was born after a lot of prayers. “He used to be frank before, but didn’t speak much about what he was going through towards the end,” he shared.

KK Singh further revealed that Sushant’s ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande not only came to meet them in Mumbai but also visited their Patna residence. Speaking about Sushant’s break-up with Ankita, KK Singh said, “Yeh toh sanjog hai, jo hona hota hai hota hai.” He went on to share that Ankita was the only girl in Sushant’s life that he knew of and he wasn’t aware of his son’s alleged girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty.

Sharing about Sushant’s marriage plans, he said, “We had spoken about it earlier. He had told me that he won’t get married during Corona but after his upcoming film releases, he will think about planning a wedding around February-March. This was the last conversation we had about his marriage.”

While Singh did confirm that his son wanted to settle but he didn’t reveal the identity of the girl he wished to marry.“We told him he should get married to a girl of his choice as he has to spend his life with her,” the late actor’s father said.

He also mentioned how Kriti Sanon consoled and told him that Sushant was a lovely man.

Sushant died on June 14 at his Bandra residence. He is survived by his father and four sisters.
