Sushant Singh Rajput’s father says he was unaware of his son’s battle with depression

Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has shaken the entire nation. Not even in our wildest dreams, anyone had ever thought of Sushant taking up such a drastic step. His untimely death has put to the forth several aspects of his life which we all were unaware of.

The actor’s family had flown down to Mumbai from Delhi to perform his last rites. The police have recorded the statements of Sushant’s father and two sisters on Tuesday. Since the investigation is still under process, police will be interrogating Sushant’s close friends like Mahesh Shetty, his creative manager, rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and his house helps.

The police are trying to find out the reason which drove the ‘Kedarnath’ actor take such a drastic step. In his recent statement to police, Sushant’s father KK Singh said that he was unaware of his son’s battle with depression.

According to the latest report in Indian Express, Sushant’s father KK Singh told the police that his son would feel low but he didn’t know the reason that caused him to be depressed. The actor’s family have also not mentioned if they have suspicion on anyone yet. Cops will also look into the ‘professional rivalry’ angle. Sushant’s creative manager, Siddharth Pithani will also be interrogated about his business dealings.

While the investigation is still under process, rumours are rife about the actor ending his life owing to losing out on several projects and being the victim of nepotism in the film industry.
