Sushant Singh Rajput’s former publicist Rohini Iyer’s statement recorded by police

Post Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide, Bandra police has been recording statements of all the close associates of the actor. Statements of Sushant’s family, relatives, friends, acquaintances are recorded by the police. Rhea Chakraborty, Mukesh Chhabra and his flatmate Siddharth Pithani were also summoned by the Bandra police. Rohini Iyer, who was an ex-publicist and a close friend of Sushant was also called to the police station as per a report in India Today. She reportedly arrived at 11 am on June 22 and was questioned for over 9 hours.

Rohini was very much close to Sushant and she shared five emotional posts for him to mourn his death. An excerpt from one of her posts read: “He was a force of nature. His accomplishments are multifold. He was as simple as quantum physics. He was a crazy genius. He read Sartre and Nietzsche, he studied astronomy and stoicism, he wrote poetry, played the guitar, wrote with his left and right hand. He cared about saving the planet, the world, about going to Mars, he invested in charities, in science projects and innovations that were beyond your comprehension. So please don’t try to make sense of him or reduce his talent to serve your mere agenda.”

In another post, she wrote, “He was about quality, not vanity. He was a bright star. That’s why he shined sheer magic. Celebrate his brilliance.”

Sushant Singh Rajput ended his life on June 14. His family came to Mumbai and the funeral took place on June 15. His ashes were immersed in Ganga at his hometown in Patna.
