Sushant Singh Rajput’s close friend, Siddharth Pithani has said that he has been pressurised to give statement against Rhea Chakraborty to Bihar Police. As per a report in Mumbai Mirror, in an email sent on Tuesday(July 28) to the Bandra police, Siddharth Pithani revealed that he got calls on July 22 from Sushant’s relatives, including his sister Meetu Singh and a senior IPS officer, OP Singh, and a senior Supreme Court advocate, who asked him about Rhea Chakraborty and the expenses she made while staying with Sushant at the Bandra residence.
Siddharth said the IPS officer called him on July 27 and asked him “to give a statement against Rhea Chakraborty to Bihar police” through a WhatsApp call. Quoting Siddharth’s email, Mumbai Mirror wrote, “I was told I would receive a phone call. I got a call from an unknown WhatsApp number, but it ended within 40 seconds, and no statement was recorded.”

Rhea Chakraborty had filed a petition in the Supreme court seeking the transfer of Sushant’s case to Mumbai from Bihar (she filed the petition after Sushant’s father KK Singh filed an FIR against her in Bihar). Siddharth’s email is part of the petition.
Siddharth Pithani had already been summoned by the Mumbai Police many times to record his statements on Sushant’s death. For the unversed, he was staying with Sushant at his apartment.
