Sushant Singh Rajput’s house help Dipesh Sawant arrested by the NCB; Kaizen Ibrahim gets released on bail

Sushant Singh Rajput’s cook Dipesh Sawant is arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). He has been taken into custody over the widening probe of the allegations of drug abuse related to the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.

Sawant was earlier said to be a witness in the late actor’s case. Now, Dipesh has been arrested after he was questioned this morning by the officials.

According to a report by Hindustan Times, KPS Malhotra, Deputy Director of NCB said, “NCB has arrested Dipesh Sawant, the house helper of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, in connection with the late actor’s death case.”

He further added, “The arrest has been made based statements and digital evidence against Sawant for his role in procuring and handling drugs. He will be produced before court tomorrow at 11 am. Cross-examination of arrested people underway.”

Meanwhile, one of the drug peddlers who was also arrested in relation to this case named Kaizen Ebrahim was granted bail by the Mumbai magistrate. He was among the five people who were arrested by the NCB in relation to the drug angle in Sushant’s case. Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik and Samuel Miranda have also been arrested by the NCB.
