Sushant Singh Rajput’s father had filed an FIR against his son’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty at the Patna Police and ever since then, the Bihar Police has made their way to Mumbai for investigating the case. Now, the investigation has taken a shocking turn as an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer from Bihar who came to Mumbai to probe the death of Sushant has been “forcibly quarantined” by the civic authorities.

Bihar’s director general of police (DGP) Gupteshwar Pandey took to his Twitter handle to tweet about the same. Sharing a picture of the quarantined stamp on the officer’s hand, he wrote, “IPS officer Binay Tiwari reached Mumbai today from patna on official duty to lead the police team there but he has been forcibly quarantined by BMC officials at 11pm today.He was not provided accommodation in the IPSMess despite request and was staying in a guest house in Goregaw”

Earlier the Bihar Police was also deprived access to Sushant’s ex-manager Dishan Salian’s suicide case.  According to a report by Republic TV,  a source from the Bihar Police revealed that a team had gone to the Malwani Police Station in Malad this Saturday to question about Disha’s suicide case. While initially, the team was provided all the necessary details regarding the case, but things changed after the Mumbai officer received a call. Later, Mumbai police told the Bihar team that the folder containing details of Disha has been “inadvertently deleted” and that they cannot find it.
