Next month, it will be a year since Sushant Singh Rajput passed away. The talented actor’s untimely and tragic demise sent shockwave amongst the entire nation. His death case is still being investigated by three central agencies- the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Directorate of Enforcement (ED) and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). While Sushant’s fans keep paying him emotional tribute every now and then, it was heartwarming to see his picture feature in a school textbook.

Sushant’s picture from his popular TV serial Pavitra Rishta features in a Bengali textbook. Alongwith SSR, his co-star Ankita Lokhande and a kid who played their child on the show also features in the textbook.

The picture of the textbook was shared by Sushant’s close friend Smita Parikh. Sharing the picture on her Twitter and wrote, “Another primary Bangla textbook published our beloved @itsSSR’s pic, to depict a family a father figure. Look at this. I am so proud of him. Clearly shows that our education board also feels he is the best(sic).”

Smita also tagged Sushant’s sisters Priyanka Singh and Neetu Singh in her post.

Commenting on the picture one of the fans wrote, “No doubt about it SSR is the best .. we are proud of him… Always.. Sushant तुम बहुत याद आते हो,, Love You so much beta(sic).” Whereas another fan commented, “Forever in our hearts.”

Sushant’s fans continue to pay him tribute in their own special ways. From conducting online prayer meet to planting trees, they all continue to remember their beloved Sushant and pray for his soul to rest in peace.
