Sushant Singh Rajput Suicide Case: Is Rhea Chakraborty absconding? Lawyer dismisses allegations

Rhea Chakraborty has been in the spotlight after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death for all the wrong reasons. Sushant’s father KK Singh filed an FIR against Rhea for abetment to suicide and other family members. Recently, the actress was reported to have gone missing with her family, but the actress’ lawyer dismissed all the allegations.

According to a report by ETimes, Advocate Satish Maneshinde, who is representing Rhea Chakraborty said, “The contention of Bihar Police that Rhea Chakraborty is missing is not correct. Her statement has been recorded by Mumbai police. She’s cooperated with police as and when called. Till today no notice or summon has been received by her from Bihar Police and they have no jurisdiction to investigate the case. She has filed proceedings in the SC. She has sought transfer of the case to Mumbai. The case is Sub Judice.”

He also revealed that Rhea is cooperating with the Mumbai Police and she has not received any summon as of yet from the Bihar Police.

According to a report in Republic TV, Rhea’s building supervisor had claimed that the actress along with her family had left their house a few days ago and they were seen carrying huge suitcases with them. “They left together in a blue car and had big suitcases with them,” the supervisor had reportedly said.
