We have finally entered the last month of the year as December begins. While one always looks back at some of the most amazing moments, this year was also full of times that one would not want to look back at. One of them being actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s unfortunate death on June 14.
The actor allegedly committed suicide and the news had rattled the whole nation. There were movements on social media and the constant flow of news that had the whole nation on the edge to know the reason behind his death. This had led to the late actor becoming the most searched celebs on the internet in 2020.
Recently, Yahoo today dropped a list of things, people and events that were the most searched on the internet. The list released on Yahoo read, “Grief over a young icon gone too soon, a slew of conspiracy theories and an endless news cycle combined to make late actor Sushant Singh Rajput India’s ‘Most Searched Personality’ of 2020.”
It further added, “Sushant Singh Rajput, Irrfan, Rishi Kapoor and S.P. Balasubrahmanyam were among the top 10 most searched male celebrities of the year, deeply mourned online. While Sushant Singh Rajput was at No 1 on this list, Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan were other online favourites from 2019, who held onto their place on this ranking.”
Besides that, Rhea Chakraborty has also become the Most Searched female celeb on the internet in 2020.
