The void in Bollywood only gets deeper as Sushant Singh Rajput passed away after Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan’s tragic deaths. The 34-year-old actor committed suicide as he was found hanging to death at his Bandra residence. The entire film industry took to social media to express their grief including Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt, but the two were brutally slammed for mocking the actor.
Karan took to his Instagram and said that it was his mistake for not checking up on Sushant in the past year, he wrote, “I blame myself for not being in touch with you for the past year….. I have felt at times like you may have needed people to share your life with…but somehow I never followed up on that feeling…will never make that mistake again…we live in very energetic and noisy but still very isolated times (sic).”

Alia too took to her Twitter and said that she is un utter shock after hearing the news, “I’m in a deep state of shock.
No matter how much I think about it, I don’t have the words. I’m totally devastated (sic).”
I hope you find the strength to make it through this devastating time ?

But, Alia and Karan were brutally slammed for their hypocrisy. One person wrote, “Well who knew #AliaBhatt would manage to act via twitter too? When asked about Sushant on koffee with karan she said “sushant who” then she and #KaranJohar followed it by joking about him . Hypocrites and insensitive to THE CORE. Be a smart audience. Do not watch his movies (sic).” Here are some of the tweets right here:

Anubhav Sinha also took to his Twitter to bash the ‘Bollywood Privilege Club’. He wrote, “The Bollywood Privilege Club must sit down and think hard tonight. PS- Now don’t ask me to elaborate any further (sic).” Have a look:

I wished you had another way. Each time someone willingly chooses death like this.. It shakes us. We are all shaken. Wondering if there was no other option left at all..
I wish you had other options Sushant.— Nikhil Dwivedi (@Nikhil_Dwivedi) June 14, 2020
What they are saying is indeed true. Let’s wait and watch whether Alia Bhatt or Karan Johar have any reverts for them. Till then you guys stay tuned to this space for more updates on SSR’s death.
