Mumbai Police has been investigating Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case. But from his fans to a few politicians to a section of celebs, they are not happy with the investigation. They have been demanding a CBI probe into the case. But the Maharashtra government is not in favour of a CBI investigation.
Now, former Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis has called out the state government for their reluctance to hand over the case to CBI.
He tweeted, “There is a huge public sentiment about handing over #SushantSinghRajput case to CBI but looking at the reluctance of State Government, atleast @dir_ed ED can register an ECIR since misappropriation and money laundering angle has come out.”

In the FIR lodged by Sushant’s father KK Singh, he had accused Rhea Chakraborty of using Sushant’s money and transferring Rs 15 crore from Sushant’s account to some other’s account that his family is not aware of.
Earlier, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh said Mumbai Police are investigating the case well and it will not be transferred to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
