Yesterday, the Supreme Court passed their verdict over Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case and Rhea Chakraborty’s plea to have her FIR transferred to the Mumbai Police. But, the Supreme Court gave the order that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) will take over the investigation. Now, according to a report by Times Now, Mumbai Police will make an attempt for a parallel probe along with the CBI in the Sushant Singh Rajput case.
Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh briefed the media. Times Now quoted him saying, “State Govt will cooperate with the SC order. Politics over this case happened in view of Bihar polls. But SC observed that Mumbai Police did the job in an efficient manner.” He further said, “We welcome the judgement of the Supreme Court and we will provide whatever cooperation is needed by the CBI. It is a matter of pride for the Mumbai Police that the Supreme Court observed there is no fault in their investigation.”
