Sushant Singh Rajput Suicide Case: Psychiatrist who treated the actor for depression interrogated by Mumbai Police

Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide on June 14 and ever since Mumbai Police has been investigating his case with a probe of professional rivalry. Every day brings in new information about the actor’s life in the past six months as the police have already interrogated around 37 people in the case. Now, they have interrogated Sushant’s psychiatrist that he was visiting in is last days.

According to a report by India TV, Sushant’s psychiatrist Kersi Chavda has recorded his statement and opened up about the details about the actor’s mental state before his death. During the investigation, it was also revealed that Sushant was extremely troubled and had seen more than 4 doctors in the past months.

Sushant’s last psychiatrist Kersi recorded his statement at the Bandra Police station. He had arrived at 11 am and was interrogated by Inspector Belnekar. The report also stated that the police are also going to be recording statements of the other doctors that Sushant was seeking treatment from. These are to be questioned by DCP Abhishek Trimukhe who himself has studied psychology.

Earlier Rhea Chakraborty, SSR’s GF, had requested a CBI investigation on Sushant’s suicide case. She wrote, “Respected @amitshahofficial sir ,I’m sushant Singh Rajputs girlfriend Rhea chakraborty, it is now over a month since his sudden demise . I have complete faith in the government , however in the interest of justice , I request you with folded hands to initiate a CBI enquiry into this matter . I only want to understand what pressures prompted Sushant to take this step. Yours sincerely Rhea Chakraborty #satyamevajayate (sic).”
