Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14. Sushant’s mysterious death had sent a shockwave all over the nation. The actor’s fans and friends have been demanding a CBI probe. After Sushant’s father KK Singh filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and her family, the actress filed a plea in the Supreme Court seeking the FIR’s transfer to Mumbai Police. Today, we will get to know the Supreme Court’s decision and there will be clarity over the CBI probe in the case as well.

The Supreme Court had withheld their decision on the last hearing on Agust 11. All the parties – Bihar Police, Mumbai Police, Rhea Chakraborty and Sushant Singh Rajput’s father were asked to submit their written replies.

After Sushant’s family filed an FIR against Rhea in the Bihar Police, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta had revealed that the Centre has accepted Bihar Government’s request for a CBI investigation in the court. The CBI had even re-registered the FIR filed by Sushant’s family. However, Rhea’s lawyer argued in the court that the Bihar Government had no jurisdiction over the case to transfer it to the CBI. Rhea’s statement even said that she has no issues with the Supreme Court transferring the case to the CBI.
