Sushant Singh Rajput’s WhatsApp chat with close friend Kushal Zaveri on June 2 debunks theories about the actor’s state of mind

Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has turned out to be a mystery which we all might never be able to decipher. Sushant’s family and close friends still can’t fathom that he committed suicide. All of them have been raising speculations regarding the circumstances under which he died. While some reports claim that Sushant was depressed, the late actor’s close friend and family have clearly stated that they can’t buy it because he was a very lively person.

Now as per a report in Zee News, Sushant’s Whatsapp chat with close friend Kushal Zaveri on June 2 ( just a few weeks before his death) reveals that the actor was trying to grow by working on himself spiritually. Read on to know what all their chat revealed.

Kushal Zaveri has been Sushant’s friend since his television days. Zaveri directed Sushant in ‘Pavitra Rishta’ and has also lived with the actor for a brief time. The director had spoken to Sushant just a few days before his death on June 14. Zee News shared the Whatsapp exchange between this two and it shows how Sushant was optimistic and working to grow.

On June 1, the ‘Kedarnath’ actor had messaged Kushal asking him about his well-being. “How are you bhai? I hope you are healthy and rocking. Miss you. Jai Shiv Shambho. Sushant,” the actor had texted. 

On June 2, Zaveri replied to the actor, “Glad to hear from you Bhai. Healthwise all is well but the struggle is for everyone and I am no exception. Hope all is good with you bhai.”

Reverting to the ‘Pavitra Rishta’s director, Sushant messaged, “Yes Bhai working on myself spiritually and trying to grow. Whenever I introspect, I really miss our golden days together. How precious they are. I just wanna say that the work we did together are something we should be proud of, find ways to continue with it and that we are always together. Please give my love to Sid too and tell him I miss him a lot. Much love (sic).”

Earlier, Kushal had revealed how vulnerable Sushant was when #MeToo allegations were levelled on him in October 2018.  Sushant’s family suspects Rhea Chakraborty drove him to suicide and used his money for furthering her career in Bollywood. The actress has refused all these allegations.
