With #MeToo movement gaining momentum day by day, new names of alleged offenders from the industry are coming into the light. Post Tanushree Dutta‘s allegations, many women from the industry came in front to share their ordeals while naming and shaming some of the bigwigs of B-town.
While some names that came out were expected, the few that left us shocked include the allegations on Sushant Singh Rajput. A couple of weeks back there were reports as to how Sushant Singh Rajput made his ‘Kizie Aur Manny’co-star Sanjana Sanghi uncomfortable with his behaviour. Mukesh Chhabra, the director of the movie who has himself been accused by multiple actresses didn’t back Sanjana. Amidst this controversy, Sushant’s Twitter handle has lost its blue tick which means it became unverified and it made us think that it was done after the allegations surfaced against him.

Denying all the allegations, Sushant tweeted saying that his blue tick was missing since September 5. His tweet reads, “And for all those deliberately using the missing of Twitter ‘blue tick’ to substantiate their false claims, allow me to tell you that it is not there since 5th of September. Get your facts checked before jumping to conclusions that you so eagerly want to.” He also shared few screenshots of messages between him and the actress to prove that he is not at fault and everything is fine between him and Sanjana.
I feel sad to reveal personal information but it seems that there is no other way to state what was, in the midst of this curated and well timed smear campaign. From the first till the last day of the shoot, this is what happened on the Set with Sanjana. (1/2) pic.twitter.com/oZXRkkMmo6

Now, Sushant has got back the ‘blue tick’ back on his Twitter handle. You can have a look at the screenshot of his handle here:
Earlier responding to the stories of Sushant’s misbehaviour, Mukesh Chhabra backed him calling it as a rumour. Mukesh tweeted in Sushant’s support saying, “I totally stand by @itsSSR – no such incident happened on the sets and let’s not have a Twitter trial and make an innocent person suffer for somebody else’s ulterior motives I had clarified this on twitter long back and I still maintain it.”
On the other hand, Mukesh Chhabra has been suspended as the director of ‘Kizie Aur Manny’ until the enquiry against the allegations made on him is complete.
