Sushmita Sen starrer Aarya, Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Serious Men and Vir Das bag a International Emmy Awards 2021 nomination

Sushmita Sen starrer Aarya, Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer Serious Men and For India comedian Vir Das has bagged an International Emmy Awards 2021 nomination making India hold three spaces in the list which was released on Thursday. The stars are over the moon as they took to their social media account to share the excitement with the fans. Sushmita Sen was seen playing the lead role in Aarya and the show has been nominated under the Best Drama Series category for the Emmy Awards. Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been nominated in the Best Performance by an Actor category for Serious Men.

Vira Das bagged the spot in the comedy section as he has been nominated for his Netflix special Vir Das: For India. Nominated along with Das in the same category are Call My Agent, Britain’s Motherland: Christmas Special and Colombian series Promesas de Campana. Also competing with Nawazzudin in the Best Actor category are British star David Tennant (Des), Roy Nik of Israel (Normali) and Christian Tappan of Colombia (El Robo del Siglo or The Great Heist). Meanwhile, Sushmita’s Aarya has been nominated with Chile’s El Presidente, Israel’s Tehran and British show There She Goes.

Sushmita took to her Twitter account and sharing the great news with her fans, she wrote, “INDIA!!!!????????
