Sushmita Sen’s ex-boyfriend Rohman Shawl reacts to her relationship with Lalit Modi

On Thursday, IPL founder Lalit Modi shared a bunch of intimate pictures with Sushmita Sen on Instagram and described her as his ‘better half’. The couple’s romantic photos sparked wedding rumours. Lalit later issued a clarification stating that they are ‘just dating’ and ‘not married’. He tweeted, “Just for clarity. Not married – just dating each other. That too will happen one day.”

Before Lalit Modi, Sushmita Sen was in a serious relationship with Rohman Shawl. They were together for two years and called it quits last year. Now, Rohman Shawl has reacted to Sushmita Sen dating Lalit Modi.

Rohman told Pinkvilla, “Let’s be happy for them na. Love is beautiful. All I know is if she has chosen someone, he is worth it!”

A couple of days ago, Sushmita had opened up about her love life. The actress told Twinkle Khanna in a Tweak India interview, “Luckily I met some very interesting men in my life, the only reason I never got married is because they were a let down. It had nothing to do with my kids. My kids were never in the equation. If at all, they have been very gracious. Both my kids have accepted people in my life with open arms, never made a face. They have given everybody equal measure of love and respect. It’s the most beautiful thing to watch.”

Sushmita added, “I came close to getting married thrice, all three times God saved me. I can’t tell you what disasters followed with their respective lives. God protected me also because God is protecting these two kids, he can’t let me get into a messy affair.”

On the work front, Sushmita is all set to return for the third season of Aarya.
