Sushmita Sen: I am excited for ‘Aankhen’ sequel being made

Model cum actress Sushmita Sen is happy to know that a sequel to the 2002 hit flick ‘Aankhen’ is being made. The beauty who was one of the pivotal character in the prequel was heard talking about it at a fashion show where she was walking as a showstopper for designer Rebecca Dewan.

Sushmita Sen said, “I am just happy that there is a sequel being made because it is a brilliant film. The film was scripted from a famous Marathi play. I am very excited to see the part 2.”

Speaking about not being approached for the sequel, Sush quipped, “As my character ended in part 1, as she was dead. Therefore, if makers are making a horror film then only I can reappear otherwise it’s going to be a little difficult. But I really feel bad for them, they are gonna miss me.”

The beauty was last seen in Bengali movie ‘Nirbaak’ that was directed by Srijit Mukherji.

‘Aankhen 2’ is being directed by Anees Bazmee. Recently the makers of the film unveiled the star cast of the film that comprises of megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Arshad Warsi and south actress Regina Cassandra who will be making her Bollywood debut in the lead roles.
