‘Laxmi arrives just before Diwali’: Sushmita Sen drops a heartwarming post as Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa welcome baby girl

Sushmita Sen is a proud ‘bua’ after her brother Rajeev Sen and his wife, actress Charu Asopa welcomed their first child. Rajeev and Charu were blessed with a baby girl. The Aarya actress shared a picture of her from the hospital and penned a long beautiful note. She expressed her excitement and said that ‘Laxmi’ referring to Goddess Laxmi, has arrived to their home, just before the festival of Diwali. On Monday, November 1, Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa took to their Instagram to announce the good news. They shared pictures and informed everyone about the birth of their little one.

On Instagram, Sushmita Sen shared the picture of her and mentioned that she was not allowed to share photos of the little princess. She revealed that her prayers have been answered with the birth of the baby girl. The actress shared that she became a ‘Bua’ this morning.

Sharing the pictures, the actress wrote, “#answeredprayers Lakshmi arrives just before Diwali!! IT’S A GIRL!!!! I BECAME A BUA THIS MORNING #sooooooohapppyyyyyy Not allowed to share baby pictures yet, so sharing mine from just before Charu delivered our little Angel I was blessed to witness it!!! Thank you Doctor @rishmapai for making this such a beautiful & peaceful experience!! You’re just the BEST!!! CONGRATULATIONS to Asopa & Sen family, 3 grandchildren, all girls!!! #yessssss #blessedindeed #sharing #happiness #buakijaan #duggadugga I love you guys!!! (sic).” She showered love on Charu, Rajeev and the little angel.

Earlier on Monday morning, Rajeev Sen shared beautiful photos from the hospital and gave everyone a glimpse of his little one. Like several other celebrities, Rajeev and Charu chose to not reveal the face of their daughter. Sushmita’s brother made the post and praised his wife Charu for being strong. In her post, Asopa also thanked Rajeev for showering her with love.
