“I don’t give a damn about it”, says Sushmita Sen on marriage plans amid reconciliation rumours with Rohman Shawl

Apart from flourishing on the professional front, actor Sushmita Sen is also making headlines for personal reasons. Work-wise, Sushmita is back as Sherni in Aarya 3 Antim Vaar but the one thing that people are genuinely invested in knowing is her relationship status. Ever since she broke up with Rohman Shawl, Sushmita often makes stunning appearances with her ex-boyfriend. Moreover, they also want to know about her marriage plans and well, it seems like Sushmita is in no mood to think about it.

Talking about the same, the Aarya actor told Film Companion that she loves and respects the institution of marriage but she is a big believer in companionship, dosti. If those elements exist in her relationship, things can go further for her. Right now freedom is everything for her.

“I know the whole world thinks I should give a damn about, at this stage at least, settling down. I don’t give a damn about it. Important to mention it’s only because I love and respect the institution of marriage. I do, very much. And I have the blessing of knowing some incredible people, including my (Aarya) director (Ram Madhvani) and my producer (Amita Madhvani), who are one of the most beautiful couples I know. But I’m a big believer of companionship, dosti (friendship). And if that exists, things can happen. But that respect and dosti is very, very important. And freedom, very very important. So I give a damn about freedom,” said Sushmita.

Sushmita Sen and Rohman Shawl have been dating each other for a while but they announced a break up in 2021. Nevertheless, they often get spotted in public places, leaving fans wondering if they have patched up.
