Sushmita Sen REVEALS she came close to getting married thrice, Deets inside

Sushmita Sen is one of the most talented and successful actors in Bollywood. She has been a part of many films over the years. She made her acting comeback with the web series Aarya. Sushmita won hearts with her terrific performance in it. Apart from professional, Sushmita’s personal life has also always made headlines. She is the mother of two adopted daughters – Renee and Alisah. In a recent interview, Sushmita made it clear that her daughters have never been the reason for her not getting married.

Talking about her marriage, Sushmita told Twinkle Khanna in a Tweak India interview, “Luckily I met some very interesting men in my life, the only reason I never got married is because they were a let down. It had nothing to do with my kids.”

She added, “My kids were never in the equation. If at all, they have been very gracious. Both my kids have accepted people in my life with open arms, never made a face. They have given everybody equal measure of love and respect. It’s the most beautiful thing to watch.”

The actress went on to add, “I came close to getting married thrice, all three times God saved me. I can’t tell you what disasters followed with their respective lives. God protected me also because God is protecting these two kids, he can’t let me get into a messy affair.”

Last year, Sushmita broke up with her longtime boyfriend Rohman Shawl after three years of relationship. In January this year, Sushmita and Rohman were spotted together for the first time post break-up. They are no longer in a relationship but are good friends with each other.
