Sushmita Sen reveals she survived a ‘massive heart attack with 95 per cent blockage’

Recently, Sushmita Sen informed through her social media that she suffered from a heart attack a couple days ago. As soon as she put up the post, worried fans started wishing her a speedy recovery. To thank her well-wishers Sushmita Sen went live on Instagram On Saturday and gave them an update about her health.

Sushmita Sen suffered a ‘massive heart attack’

The actress often goes live for her fans and share updates from her life. With such a big health scare having happened recently, Sushmita did it yet again to put her fans’ minds at ease. During the live, the actress informed that she indeed suffered a “massive heart attack” and also has a viral throat infection. She also shared that there was a “95 per cent blockage” in her main artery that caused the attack.

The Bollywood actress went through her medical procedure at the Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai. She thanked her medical staff for taking good care of her. Sushmita revealed her only request was that her admittance and procedure be kept private until she is discharged.

Sushmita Sen gives her health update

Sushmita also thanked her fans for their prayers and best wishes that helped her recover so fast. She added that she hasn’t been able to respond to all the calls and messages because she is “prioritising my life” right now.

The Aarya actress insisted that many people might want to stop going to gym saying it didn’t help her. But she credited her ability to recover so soon to her healthy lifestyle. She asserted on its importance and urged people to have a healthy lifestyle as well.

Sushmita on the path forward

The actress informed that she is on her road to recovery. She shared that she will head to Jaipur to complete the shoot for Aarya 3, once her daughters give her an all clear. “I can’t wait to get back to the sets of Aarya. I am going to give you a season 3 like never before,” she promised. She also has to complete the dubbing for Taali. Here’s wishing the actress a speedy recovery and directing all the warm wishes to her.
