Sushmita Sen to shoot for new web series, says it has her heart

Sushmita Sen made a smashing OTT debut with the thriller Aarya and received accolades for her performance. The former Miss Universe and actor also earned an International Emmy Award nomination for it. Post entertaining fans for two seasons, the actress is all set to begin work for a new web series.

Sushmita Sen recently took to Instagram and shared an update on her new project. Sharing a picture from her recent trip to Sardinia she wrote, “Sun Set..Sen Rise!!! ???❤️Life has been crazy busy…getting ready to shoot a brand new Web Series…one that has my heart!!?❤️??I miss you guys & love you beyond!!! #duggadugga ????.”

Though not much has been revealed about the upcoming web series, Sushmita Sen fans are quite excited about her new project.

On the work front, Sushmita Sen is all set to make a comeback on the big screen after a long hiatus. She will be seen in a biopic produced by Deepak Mukut of Dhaakad fame. Mukut had confirmed the news saying they were delighted to have Sushmita on board for this biopic.

Speaking to Indian Express he said, “We are very thrilled to have Sushmita Sen on board for our upcoming film which is a biopic. She has always been a force to be reckoned with when it comes to her skills on screen and she completely fits the bill of the protagonist of this biopic. We are sure it is going to be an exciting journey for all of us.”

The actor was seen in the second season of Aarya which premiered in December 2021. She will soon be back with the third season of the show. Aarya is an official adaption of the hit Dutch show Penoza.
