Did Swara Bhaskar replace Katrina Kaif in Sonam Kapoor’s next?

Reports are doing the rounds that Katrina Kaif was to feature in a chick-flick alongside Sonam Kapoor, but now it’s Swara Bhaskar who has replaced Katrina to in the film. As per a web portal, the director of this film Rhea Kapoor wants the best and well-suited cast for the film and hence the decision.

A source was quoted saying, “Katrina is no more a part of the project. The character that she was to play had to speak like Delhi girl and since Kat couldn’t pull that off, there was talk of dubbing her voice which she wasn’t comfortable with. So that didn’t work out.” Further, the reports mentions that the Kapoor sisters want to make this genre of chick-flicks a popular one in India and therefore, they don’t want to take risks when it comes to casting of the film.

Well, someone’s loss is someone’s again and it’s Swara who has been lucky this time. Even Huma Qureshi was approached for this film, but she is running on a busy schedule.

A chick-flick sounds interesting!
