Swara Bhaskar is delivering groundbreaking performance in one film after another. Her last release ‘Nil Battey Sannata’ had her playing a poor house maid who aspires for her daughter’s higher education. Well-crafted relevant, the film turned out to be a beautiful watch.
Now, ‘Anaarkali of Aarah’ promises to be another quirky tale. Director-producer Karan Johar took to Twitter to share the two posters of the film.
“Well done @ReallySwara for constantly breaking ground!! 24th march is the date guys ! For this new world and engaging film!!!,” [sic] he wrote. (Also Read: Swara Bhaskar: I wanted to be like Shah Rukh Khan)
Have a close watch at the posters! With all the colours, the quirky bicycle and the priceless expression on the old man’s face, doesn’t it look interesting as hell? But the secret probably lies in Swara’s mischievous smile.
Director Avinash Das previously worked in ‘The Battle of Banaras’, a documentary by Kamal Swaroop. This is his debut feature film as a solo director.
Hold your breathe till March 24 to get your hands on the full story!
