Sushant Singh Rajput’s death had once again given rise to the nepotism and insider-outsider debate. There was even a war of words between Kangana Ranaut, Swara Bhasker and Taapsee Pannu due to their difference of opinions. And the irony was all three are outsiders.
When we asked Swara Bhasker about it, she said, “Pura jo insider-outsider and nepotism ka jo debate hain na, uska framing hi galat hua hain. Kyunki woh debate hain hi nahin , woh discourse hain hi nahin, woh ilzamat hain. I am really sorry to say ye one-sided hain kyunki ek taraf se bizarre ilzaam aa rahe hain. Ye halla hain, aur ek taraf se jhooth fhelane ka prakriya hain. Isse kuch nikalne wala nahi hain.”
She continued, “Insider har industry main hote hain aur aisa nahi ki sirf film industry mai hain. Agar aapke maa baap jo field main hain aur agar aap usi field main jane chahte hain, toh aap ke pass privilege hogi aur hoti hain .Lekin aap ke pass talent nahi hain toh aap pakde jayenge aur ye hume kayi cases main dekha hain. Dusri cheez main ye bolungi ki audience ko bhi aapni zimmedari samajhni chahiye. Star audience aur media banate hain. Agar aapke andar itna interest hain ki Sridevi ji ki beti kaisi dikhti hain, toh banagi Janhvi star, usmein Janhvi ki galti thodi na hain. Janhvi toh aapna kaam kar rahi hain. Taimur ko star kisne banaya? Saif aur Kareena ne thodi banaya. Unki galti thodi na hain.Taimur ke star banne main toh humara haath hain.”

“Ye bohot hi unhelpful pointless debate ho gaya hain abhi. Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Ayushmann Khurrana, all are outsiders. India main baki sare problems khatam ho gayi kya? Sirf Bollywood hi problem bacha hain kya? Bollywood ko villain banana asan hain par kya woh sahi hain, that’s the question,” added Swara.
