Actress Swara Bhasker’s mother and their cook have tested positive for Covid-19. The actress took to her social media handles to share the news. She is currently in her hometown, Delhi. They have isolated at home. She also asked people to “double mask up” and “stay at home”.
“It’s come home. My mother and our cook have both tested positive. We are all isolating at home in #Delhi. Double mask up and stay at home people (sic),” tweeted Swara.

Recently, Swara Bhasker’s movie Jahaan Chaar Yaar’s movie shoot was halted after her co-star Meher Vij tested Covid-19 positive. They were shooting in Goa. Swara tweeted, “Was shooting in Goa for #JahaanChaarYaar where co-actor #MeherVij tested positive for COVID-19. Our producer @vinodbachchan did the responsible thing by suspending shoot, quarantining crew & having everyone tested. Hope to resume shooting soon! Get well soon Meher #COVID19 (sic).”

The second wave of Covid-19 is getting uglier day by day. States like Maharashtra, Delhi, Punjab, West Bengal and other states are seeing a sharp growth of cases. There is a lack of oxygen cylinders, beds, ICU, shortage of injections like Remdesivir in most of the states.
On Monday, April 19, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had to announce a 6-day lockdown in the capital city as the cases are not slowing down. There will be a complete lockdown from 10 pm today (April 19) till 5 am, April 26.
