Taapsee Pannu celebrates 2 years of ‘Pink’ by sharing a touching post

Actress Taapsee Pannu is currently ruling Bollywood with her powerful performances in recently released films like ‘Mulk’ and ‘Manmarziyaan’. The actress forayed into Bollywood in 2012, and in just 6 years, she has made her way into our hearts with her versatility.

Today, as her film ‘Pink’ completed two years, Taapsee went down memory lane and shared the impact this film had on her both personally as well as professionally. Sharing an endearing picture with her ‘Pink’ co-stars Kirti Kulhari and Andrea Tariang, Taapsee captioned it as, “2 years of #Pink! ‬The movie that not just gave me an audience but a sense of direction. Helmed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, courtroom drama ‘Pink’ also starred Amitabh Bachchan in a pivotal role. Upon its release, the film received critical acclaim and brought a movement wherein the importance of a woman’s consent was discussed. The film even went on to bag the National Film Award for Best Film on Other Social Issues.

We hope that in the coming year, Taapsee will be treating the viewers with more such gripping and hard-hitting films.

Interestingly, Taapsee will be teaming up with Amitabh Bachchan once again for Sujoy Ghosh’s ‘Badla’. The film will be releasing next year.
