Taapsee Pannu is one such actress in Bollywood who never fails to voice out her opinions. She knows how to deal with criticism and controversies. Many times we have seen taking trolls and criticism in her stride and not letting them affect her. Also, Taapsee has ripped apart those who unnecessarily slammed her.
At the 50th edition of IFFI (International Film Festival of India) 2019 in Goa, during a discussion with the audience, Taapsee was asked to speak in Hindi instead of English by a man among the audience. It was during the Q&A live discussion on ‘Women in Lead’. She then asked the man, “Does everybody here understand Hindi?” The man then said that as she is a Bollywood actress, she should speak in Hindi. To this Taapsee gave a befitting reply. She said, “I am also an actress in the Tamil and Telugu industries. Shall I speak in Tamil to you?” The audience applauded her reply and the man then sat down.
Here’s the video.
