Kangana Ranaut has been in the headlines these days because of her bold statements about other actresses. She has bashed actresses like Taapsee Pannu, Swara Bhasker and Richa Chadha. She has also called them B-Grade actresses who have to pay their bills for which she was mocked by Taapsee Pannu.
In her interview with Republic TV, talking about Swara and Taapsee, Kangana had said, “What I want to convey through this interview is… for me, I have only to lose here… because I know tomorrow they will get some 20 needy outsiders like Taapsee Pannu or Swara Bhasker who will get up and say, ‘Oh! Only Kangana has problems with nepotism. We love Karan Johar’. If you love Karan Johar, why are you both B-grade actresses? You are both better looking than Alia Bhatt and Ananya Panday. You both are better actresses. Why don’t you get work? Your whole existence is proof of nepotism. What are you telling me about how happy you are with the industry?”
Later, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Kangana said that she understands that these actresses have to pay bills, she said, “I am not Anil Kapoor or Mahesh Bhatt‘s daughter. Or when you talk about Swara Bhaskar, Taapsee Pannu or Richa Chadda, I understand they have bills to pay for their house; everybody is not and doesn’t want to live the kind of life I aspire. So, I do understand where they’re coming from and there are a lot of pressures. People are very bothered about their own personal gains.”
But, Taapsee mocked Kangana as she tweeter from her Twitter handle and wrote, “Hi @RichaChadha @ReallySwara someone is really concerned about our bills n our EMIs. Such a kind compassionate industry. So much respect for our ‘B grade’ struggle.”
