Taapsee Pannu on being compared with Kangana Ranaut: Let her be the queen or I’ll be called a copy again

A news portal recently compared Taapsee Pannu with Kangana Ranaut and called the former ‘the real Queen of Bollywood’. Reacting to this, Taapsee replied, “Arre arre! Aise mat boliye. Queen unhi ko rehne dijiye nahi toh phir copy kehlaugi, main ek actor hi sahi hoon bas aise hi mera saath dete rahiye. dhanyawad” (Don’t say that. Let her be the queen or I’ll be called a copy again. I am satisfied being an actor, just keep giving me your support. Thank you.)

For the unversed, recently there was a Twitter spat between Taapsee and Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel. Rangoli had called Taapsee a “sasti copy” (cheap copy) of Kangana after Taapsee’s appreciation of ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’ trailer. While appreciating the trailer, Taapsee didn’t mention Kangana’s name and this didn’t go down well with Rangoli who took a dig on the ‘Mulk’ actress.

Taapsee then reacted to Rangoli’s tweet and said, “Short life, no time to waste on this. Have so many happier and better things happening in my life to look at right now.”

Taapsee is not the first Bollywood actor to be targeted by Rangoli. Earlier too, many celebs were targeted by her.

Talking about Taapsee, she will be seen in ‘Mission Mangal’ that is slated to hit the theatres on August 15.
