Taapsee Pannu opens up on ‘PINK’ winning a National Award

This morning, the coveted National Awards were held and the list of winners had names of some of the most prominent and deserving movies of Bollywood. And one amongst them was Taapsee Pannu-starrer ‘PINK’ which bagged a National Award for Best Film on social issues. It is indeed a proud moment for the team as the movie dealt with a sensitive subject on women empowerment with ease. (Also Read: Wow! So, we got in touch with the lead actress of the movie, Taapsee Pannu, on the victory, and here’s what she had to say, “I always believed this film has a potential to bag all possible recognition on this planet and I’m happy the National Award jury validated my belief. A beautiful team effort that gets applauded. This film shall forever be etched in my memories. As an artist, it escalated me to greater heights and as a person, it helped me strengthen my belief in my judgement.”
