Taapsee Pannu’s parents worried she might not get married, actress says, “They were like ki ‘tu karle please shaadi, kisi se bhi kar bas karle”

Taapsee Pannu is reportedly in a relationship with former badminton player and coach Mathias Boe. They have often been seen together but nothing is confirmed yet. Taapsee did confess that she is in a relationship but the guy is neither a cricketer nor an actor. This only went on to put a nail in the fact that Taapsee is indeed dating Mathias. The Haseen Dillruba actress recently revealed her marriage plans and said that he parents want her to tie the knot soon. Pannu said that she would never marry a man that he parents are not ‘ok’ with.

Taapsee told Curly Tales, “I wouldn’t get married to someone my parents are not okay with. I have been very honest about this to everyone I’ve dated and thought about getting married to. Kyunki mere saath yeh hota tha whoever I dated in my head I was like ‘hann isse shaadi hosakti hai toh hi time aur energy spend karte hai iss insaan ke upar. So I’ve always seen it from that perspective toh agar nahi ho raha hai toh mat karo.”

She further added that he parents just want her to get married because they are worried she won’t marry at all in her life, “My parents actually in return were like ki bhai ‘tu karle please shaadi, bas tu karle, kisi se bhi kar bas karle. They are just worried I might just end up not getting married ever. Their worry is that.”

Earlier this year in an interview with Pinkvilla, Taapsee had said that she still has a lot to do before she settles down and gets married, “I am yet to reach certain benchmarks in my professional life. Once I do, I’ll probably think of slowing down, doing two-three films a year instead of five-six. Only then will I have time to dedicate to my personal life.”
