Rashmi Rocket Trailer: Taapsee Pannu’s sports drama promises equal portion of emotions and ambition

The trailer of Rashmi Rocket is finally out. The movie stars Taapsee Pannu in the lead role. Earlier today, Taapsee had shared a video of her from a sports stadium and wrote that the trailer will be released today. “On your marks aur get set toh ho chuka hai , ab bas go hona baaki hai. Rashmi, rocket ki speed se aa rahi hai aaj 6:30 baje!#TrailerOutToday on #Zee5 (sic),” she wrote while sharing the teaser.

Sharing the trailer, Taapsee wrote, “मिलिए रश्मि से , जिसके लिए ‘हार जीत तो परिणाम है , कोशिश हमारा काम है’ ।#RashmiRocket Premieres 15th October on #ZEE5(sic)”. Rashmi is not just about ambitions and struggles on the field, but also in life that the character faces. Taapsee has very well got into the skin of the character and she nailed it.

In Rashmi Rocket, Taapsee is playing the role of an athlete named Rashmi while Priyanshu Painyuli plays her husband in the film, Supriya Pathak plays her mother. Directed by Akarsh Khurana, the film is releasing on OTT, Zee 5. On September 20, Taapsee took to social media to announce the release date of the film. It will premiere on Zee5 on October 15, Dussehra. Sharing a new poster of Rashmi Rocket, Taapsee wrote, “Get ready to run with Rashmi in this race on and off the track. She will need you in this one #RashmiRocket ready to take off on 15th October 2021 only on @zee5 (sic)”. Rashmi Rocket is written by Kanika Dhillon, Nanda Periyasamy and Aniruddha Guha. The sports drama is produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Neha Anand and Pranjal Khandhdiya.
