Anubhav Sinha is set to direct the film and Taapsee Pannu to play the lead role, as per PeepingMoon.com. This film won’t be a sequel to Mulk but will share its thematic approach. As per the sources, “The film is said to be tackling hard-hitting and burning issues and promises to deliver a thought-provoking message that resonates with contemporary society.”

She will also be in a romantic comedy titled Woh Ladki Hai Kahan with Pratik Gandhi slated for release later this year.
