Taapsee Pannu and Samantha Ruth Prabhu to team up for a female-centric film?

Taapsee Pannu and Samantha Ruth Prabhu have a handful of offers in their kitty right. Now, there are reports doing rounds on the internet stating that the actresses are all set to collaborate for a female-centric movie. This will also mark Samantha’s debut in the Bollywood industry, however, the duo won’t be sharing the screen space.

According to a report in Bollywood Life, Taapsee’s production house, Outsiders Films, will bankroll the project starring Samantha. “Both Taapsee Pannu and Samantha Ruth Prabhu love the subject and are eager to work with each other, so, apparently, an announcement could be expected soon. The rest of the details about the Director, writer, and rest of the cast isn’t known at this time, but some of it should become clear once the announcement takes place. As for when could we expect this project to release…our source adds that it won’t be before the latter half of 2022, or, probably, even early 2023, and it’s likely to have a pan-India release,” said the report.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Taapsee was most recently seen in Rashmi Rocket which was released on Zee5. She has several films like Shabaash Mith, Looop Lapeta, Dobaaraa, Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan, and Blurr.

Whereas, Samantha recently appeared in the song Oo Antava in Pushpa, which marked her first dance number. Next, she will be seen next in the mythological film Shaakuntalam, directed by Gunasekhar. Recently, she was also cast in Arrangements of Love directed by Philip John, marking her debut in the Hollywood industry. She also has Vignesh Shivan’s Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal alongside Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara.
