Taapsee Pannu slams media trial of Rhea Chakraborty; says, “Trust the law of the land for your sanity”

From the Central Bureau of Investigation to the Enforcement Directorate to the Narcotics Control Bureau, these agencies are probing Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. All these investigating agencies came into force after Sushant’s family filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty. Many charges are levelled against her and the latest is the drug angle. Rhea has been investigated by the CBI now. While some are bashing Rhea, some celebs have called out the media trial of the actress.

Taapsee Pannu is one of them. She took to her Twitter handle and wrote, “I didn’t know Sushant on a personal level nor do I know Rhea but what I know is, it only takes to be a human to understand how wrong it is to overtake judiciary to convict someone who isn’t proven guilty. Trust the law of the land for your sanity and the deceased’s sanctity.” This is in response to Lakshmi Manchu’s post where she demanded justice not just for Sushant but for Rhea as well.

Earlier, Swara Bhasker and Ram Gopal Varma also came forward to condemn the media trial of Rhea Chakraborty.
