Taapsee Pannu to star in Anurag Kashyap’s supernatural thriller

It’s official now, Taapsee Pannu and filmmaker Anurag Kashyap are collaborating once again for a supernatural thriller. Taapsee had starred in Kashyap’s romantic comedy-drama ‘Manmarziyaan’ that released last year. The film also featured Abhishek Bachchan and Vicky Kaushal in lead.

Interestingly Taapsee is also working in Kashyap’s forthcoming home production ‘Saand Ki Aankh’. Looks like this director-actor jodi is extremely enjoying working together. Anurag’s supernatural thriller is yet-to-be-titled and reportedly will go on floors by the end of this year.

Talking about working with Taapsee once again, Kashyap told Mumbai Mirror, “Taapsee keeps me on my toes and is on a mission to make me take on challenges. I have never done anything like this before, so I am looking forward to it.”

Taapsee is equally excited about reuniting with Kashyap. “I knew we would work again but I didn’t know it would happen so soon. We had been discussing stories and this one received a resounding ‘yes’ from everyone. I am looking forward to it as I have not explored the supernatural genre in Hindi films yet.”

Well looks like the project is going to be a super exciting one given the enthusiasm of the maker as well as the actress. Also, we are eager to know who Anurag will cast opposite Taapsee in this thriller. The film is scheduled to hit the theatres in 2020, and it will be produced by Sunir Kheterpal.
