Taapsee Pannu’s Rashmi Rocket to take the digital route; film to premiere on Zee 5

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and theatres being partially open, many filmmakers have taken the digital route to release the film. Speaking of which, actor Taapsee Pannu starrer Rashmi Rocket which is touted to be one of the most-awaited films is all set to release on the OTT platform Zee 5. Taapsee recently took to her Instagram account and dropped a new poster of the film while announcing that the film will be taking off on the streaming platform.

Rashmi Rocket ​is set ​to premiere on October 15 on Zee5. Sharing the announcement with her Insta family, Pannu wrote, “ये चुनौतियों भरी race शुरू हो चुकी है और अब रावण दहन पे ही आके रुकेगी । बहुत कुछ नष्ट करना है रश्मि को इस साल ।  Get ready to run with Rashmi in this race on and off the track. She will need you in this one #RashmiRocket ready to take off on 15th October 2021 only on @zee5.” 

Talking about the film, Taapsee Pannu said, “This film is very different special. I’ve always been approached when either the script or the director is ready to make the film but one line of this story fell in my lap in Chennai and then from there to it becoming a full-fledged film has been a feeling I haven’t experienced with any other film before. Everyone was just so sure about the story from day 1 that it was never a tough job to convince any of the stakeholders to join hands and give their best for this film. Hence the result of this film will affect me a lot more than my other films. Also, I’m extremely proud of it.“

Meanwhile, on the film front, Taapsee Pannu is set for a season chock-a-bloc with her next Looop Lapeta, DooBaaraa, Annabelle Sethupathy, Shabaash Mithu, Blurr in the pipeline.
