Tabu recalls she once bought face cream worth 50k, jokes ‘Aage nahi khareedungi’

Tabu, who has clocked 30 years in the film industry opened up about her beauty routine. The 51-year old actress exudes beauty and she is known for her evergreen glamour. Tabu, who is loved dearly by her fans shared what she is doing to age like fine wine.

The Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actress joked about getting a cream worth Rs 50,000 recently. When asked about her beauty routine, she revealed she follows no such secret routine. The actor then recalled the time she purchased a cream worth Rs 50,000 and mentioned she wouldn’t buy it again.

Speaking with Film Companion, the actress said, “Koi secret nahi hai (I don’t have a secret). Mithali, my makeup artist, was telling me, ‘Ma’am, skin is looking good, some home nuska (remedy) you are doing or what?’ Some days, I’ll tell her that I put coffee here, and some plant there, and she’ll say, ‘You can’t do that, you have to use this cream’, and she’ll suggest some ₹50,000 cream. Ek baar khareed liya, bas. Aage nahi khareedungi (I bought it once, but never again).”

She further mentioned there’s nothing specific she does for her face. The actress said, “There’s nothing that I consciously do for my face and all, but of course, I’m aware and conscious that I better look a certain way. I will not purposely ruin anything that takes away from… But that’s with everyone, even if you’re not an actor.” Tabu added, “Everyone wants to look good and maintain a certain level of being presentable, and fit, and healthy, and mentally there. I try my best.”

Meanwhile, the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actress was last seen in the Anees Bazmee movie. She played the role of Manjulika and Anjulike in the movie. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was a massive success. It featured Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, Rajpal Yadav and many others.

Work-wise, Tabu is working on the movie Drishyam 2. The film Drishyam 2 is a sequel and also features Ajay Devgn. She even has the Vishal Bharadwaj movie Khufiya.
