Now, Tahira Kashyap in an interview with Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s wife and renowned film critic Anupama Chopra, opened up about various aspects of her life. Tahira, despite struggling with cancer, was full of spirit and was quite relaxed and at peace with herself.

Tahira was asked about the battle with cancer and said, ”Whatever obstacles come your way, it is there to teach you and make you a better person. I am not taking any pressure now. Nobody expects the cancer to happen to them and life is unpredictable. My courage came from my family, myself and strength.”

Tahira also talked about the rough patch she went through with her husband Ayushmann during the release of ‘Vicky Donor’. Ayushmann’s intimate (read: kissing) scenes with actress Yami Gautam didn’t go down well with Tahira.

Tahira said, “A lot has changed in his presence. I was this crazy insecure pregnant person when ‘Vicky Donor’ happened and that was the worst phase for both of us. I think both of us were very immature. I’m sure he didn’t had the maturity to kind of hold my hand and tell me it’s okay, especially, when I am crazy or my hormones (were acting up) because I was pregnant at the time and I also didn’t have the maturity to just take it easy and say that this thing will get over.”

Tahira Kashyap, earlier today, also took to Instagram and wrote an emotional post on the World Cancer Day.
