Tamannaah Bhatia summoned by Maharashtra Cyber over the unauthorised streaming of IPL 2023

Actress Tamannaah Bhatia is making the headlines today for not-so-good reasons. The actress is reportedly in legal trouble over the unauthorised streaming of IPL 2023 on an app. As per reports, the ‘Baahubali’ actress has been summoned by Maharashtra Cyber. She is required to appear before the authorities on April 29.

A couple of hours ago, ANI took to Twitter and shared the news. Sharing the news of Tamannaah being summoned, the news agency noted, “Maharashtra Cyber summons actor Tamannaah Bhatia for questioning in connection with the illegal streaming of IPL 2023 on Fairplay App that caused loss of Crores of Rupees to Viacom. She has been asked to appear before Maharashtra Cyber on 29th April.”

Their post further read, “Actor Sanjay Dutt was also summoned in this connection on 23rd April but he had not appeared before them. He had, instead, sought a date and time for recording his statement and said that he was not in India on the date.”

On the professional front, Tamannaah has a packed 2024. The actress will soon star in the Tamil film Aranmanai 4. Also starring Sundar C and Raashii Khanna, the comedy-drama released on May 3. She will also play pivotal parts in the Hindi films Vedaa and Stree 2. The ‘Lust Stories 2’ actress will also feature in the Telugu film Odela 2.
