Tamannaah vs. Shilpa! Who wore the matching-separates-with-belt look better?

We’re not really big fans of Tamannaah’s fashion sense. On the contrary, Shilpa’s diva-like style sensibilities are not hidden from the world, and we’re just a minuscule part of her huge fan brigade. But for now, let’s keep our affinity for her aside, and see how these two actresses have styled their matching separates with the belt twist. We’ll try our best to be fair.

Shilpa Shetty Kundra recently stepped out in these military-inspired separates with black embroidery on the front for a reality show. The lady proved once again that you just need the right accessories to ace something as simple as this unfancy outfit. Styled by celebrity stylist Sanjana Batra, she kept things minimal with hair let loose, silver hoop earrings and light pink lips. But just wait till you check out that metallic belt from H&M that has tassel detailing at one end, adding the much-needed drama to the ensemble without overpowering it. And of course, we also cannot get over the bling-a-ding Christian Louboutin stilettos that perfectly complement the belt. Tamannaah Bhatia also donned a laid-back look like Shilpa and wore these matching blue separates with red and white stripes from Tommy Hilfiger. She was also styled by Sanjana Batra, who added a brown belt to the outfit for breaking the monotony of the busy print. The actress opted for nude sandals that totally worked and side swept curls that enhanced the overall look. Makeup artist Sonia Jain gave her glossy brown lips and subtle kohl-rimmed eyes. She looked pretty.

So, the question is: who really stole the fashion game? We wish Tamannaah had worn the belt on her hips instead of that high up as it looked pretty awkward and seemed to be sliding up with hand movements. That’s probably the only reason why we would give Shilpa some brownie points as her belt looked snug and accentuated her slender frame well. And how we love those black Louboutin babies she’s wearing. Aha!
