‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ Poster: Kajol looks every bit like the fearless Savitribai Malusare

Ajay Devgn’s upcoming movie ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ is one of the most anticipated movies currently. After a long time, Ajay will be seen sharing screen space with his wife Kajol. The first look of Kajol has been revealed and it has left her fans stunned.

Ajay took to his Instagram to reveal the first look of Kajol. The caption read, “Savitribai Malusare – Tanhaji ke saahas ka sahara… aur unke bal ki shakti. #TanhajiTheUnsungWarrior in cinemas 10th January 2020 (sic).” In the poster, Kajol looks very ethereal in her Maharashtrian avatar. She sports a simple red sari and the jewellery makes her look completely in character.  She holds a very intense but sad gaze.

The trailer of the movie is set to release tomorrow. Ahead of that, the teaser of the trailer was also released. Ajay shared it with the caption, “Rishton ka farz… Ya mitti ka karz? #TanhajiTheUnsungWarrior, in cinemas 10th January 2020. TANHAJI TRAILER IN 2 DAYS (sic).”

‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ is a period drama set in the 17th century. The Om Raut directorial is based on the life of Tanaji Malusare, an unsung warrior of Indian history and the military leader in the army of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, founder of the Maratha Empire. Apart from Ajay and Kajol, the movie also stars Saif Ali Khan, Sharad Kelkar, Luke Kenny, and Pankaj Tripathi.  Produced by Ajay Devgn’s ADF and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series, the film will release on January 10, 2020. It will clash at the ticket-windows with Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Chhapaak’.
