Saif Ali Khan was recently seen sharing the screen space with Ajay Devgn in the period drama, ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ and the actor has been bagging good reviews for his role. In one of the recent interviews, the actor spilled the beans on his character from ‘Tanhaji’ and the history of India. Unfortunately, the actor yet again gets targeted by social media trolls for his lack of knowledge on Indian history and for criticizing his own film.
Soon after the release of the film, ‘Tanhaji’, a certain section of the society has accused the makers of the film for distorting the facts and Indian history. Saif Ali Khan in a recent conversation with Anupama Chopra drew the light on the same. As the actor went ahead commenting on Indian history, that irked the social media users. And thus the Twitterati started massively trolling the actor.
Saif said, “For some reason, I didn’t take a stand. Maybe next time I would. I was very excited to play the role because it’s a delicious role. But when people say this is history, I don’t think this is history. I am quite aware of what the history was.”
Take a look at what netizens have to say to Saif Ali Khan, here below.
