Tanishaa Mukerji steps in Lara Dutta’s shoes

Bollywood actress Tanishaa Mukerji, is known for her controversial Bigg Boss stint. The younger sister of actress Kajol will soon be seen making a comeback in Jyothi Kapur Das’s ‘Abhi Nahin Toh Kabhi Nahin’. The movie is produced by Virender K Arora, Arjun N Kapoor and Mahesh Bhupathi. Tanishaa will be stepping into Lara Dutta’s shoes for the movie.

Lara Dutta who was earlier chosen for the role in romcom ‘Abhi Nahin Toh Kabhi Nahin’ had to be replaced due to date issues. Ajay Devgn’s sister in law Tanishaa has now stepped into Lara’s role. The story of the film is about a father (Pankaj Kapur) and his children (Sanah Kapur, Tanishaa and a new actor), Sanjay Kapoor and Vinay Virmani.

Sources said, “Mahesh’s wife Lara Dutta was to do the role but the film got delayed a bit, so she didn’t have the dates. Tanishaa has now stepped into her role. Pankaj Kapur plays her father and he’s seen in an unusually fun and romantic avatar in the film. Initially, Rajeev Khandelwal was also supposed to do one of the roles but his role changed quite a bit so he opted out.”

Tanishaa, is currently acting in the play The Jury directed by Divya Palat.
