On Saturday, Bollywood actress Tanishaa Mukerji informed her fans that she has tested positive for Covid-19. The actress made the announcement on her social media handle and also shared a health update.
Taking to her Instagram story, the ‘Neal n Nikki’ actress wrote: ”Hey everyone. I’ve been detected covid positive and will be isolating as required.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, the actress will soon make her Bollywood comeback with the upcoming spy-thriller film ‘Code Name Abdul.’ This is the first time, the actress will be trying her hands on the action-thriller genre. The film revolves around a secret mission given to RAW and is scheduled for theatrically release on 10 December 2021, directed by Eshwar Gunturu. The project will also star debutant Akku Kulhari.

Talking about the film, the former Bigg Boss contestant said: “I have always done lighter films, even breezy ones. Action is something that needs a whole new skill set. I play a mysterious Muslim woman named Salma. Over the last few years, I have tried to evolve as an artist. This was a preparation-intensive role and I have ensured that I do my best at it.”
Recently, Mukerji revealed that she froze her eggs at the age of 39, in case she wants to have children someday. She called her decision a ‘personal choice.’
Tanishaa made her Bollywood debut in 2003 with ‘Sssshhh…’ opposite Karan Nath and then went ahead to be a part of many other films, such as ‘Neal n Nikki’ opposite Uday Chopra, ‘Popcorn Khao! Mast Ho Jao’, ‘Tango Charlie’, ‘Sarkar’, ‘Sarkar Raaj’ and many more.
She also participated in reality TV shows such as ‘Bigg Boss 7,’ ‘Gangs of Haseepur’ and ‘Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7.’
