When Tanuj Virwani played cupid between miffed parents

Actor Tanuj Virwani recently shared how he played a mediator to bring peace between his parents who were going through a rough patch.

Bollywood was utterly shocked when Tanuj’s mother actress Rati Agnihotri, who has been married to husband Anil Virwani for almost three decades now, accused him of domestic violence. However, it was Tanuj who initiated the talks between them and tried to melt the ice.

“I was upset. For me, family is everything, especially since we come from a small family. It’s just the three of us. But I do understand that life is full of ups and downs. I tried to be their pillar of strength. They were both battling internal and external demons. It was a hard time for both of them. If I were to side with just one of them, the other one would have crumbled. At that point I had to be a mediator as what your child can do, no outsider would be able to do. We live in the same house,” he said.

Following this, the couple patched up again and they are staying together. Tanuj is glad about it!

On the professional front, the actor will appear opposite Sunny Leone in Jasmine D’souza’s ‘One Night Stand’ which hits the theatres on April 22, 2016.
